Oxford-educated historian Joseph P. Farrell delivers the sequel to his best-selling Covert Wars and Breakaway Civilizations, part of his book series on suppressed technology, Nazi survival, secret finance and postwar hidden conflicts. His customary meticulous research and sharp analysis blow the lid off of a worldwide web of nefarious financial and technological control that very few people even suspect exists. Farrell delves deeper into the breakaway civilizations created by the Nazis in South America and other parts of the world. He elaborates on the advanced technology that they took with them at the a enda of World War II and shows how they created a huge system of hidden finance with the involvement of leading financial institutions around the world. He exposes the secret space programs used by the breakaway civilizations and reveals the clash of civilizationsa "a virtual secret war going on around us. He investigates the current space secrecy that involves UFOs, suppressed technologies and the hidden oligarchs who control planet Earth for their own gain and profit. Farrell probes the mystery surrounding Dr. Kurt Debus and his links to NASA and Werner von Braun. He uncovers the covert operations of Richard Bissell, the flying saucer designs of Alfred Loedding and T. Townsend Brown, and strange activity on Mars involving UFOs. He explains the magneto-hydrodynamic anti-gravity drives that would easily power such craft. He includes a continued discussion of a emulationala technologies (those that can imitate acts of god/nature, like earthquakes and storms) from the standpoint of the culture of a full spectrum dominancea and the culture of a plausible deniability.a Farrell includes plenty of astounding accounts, documents and speculation on the amazing alternative history of hidden conflicts, secret oligarchies and super technology.
Journalist Jane Hale seeks the truth about UFOs in this science fiction suspense that revolves around a conspiracy: Flying saucers are a product of human -- not alien -- ingenuity. The United States purloined the technology from the Germans at the end of the war and then began a clandestine program to produce a fleet of antigravity vehicles; Harry Truman secretly nurtured the program after the saucers' sensational showing in demonstrations the president himself ordered over Washington in 1952; influential engineer and technocrat Vannevar Bush aggressively enforced a secrecy doctrine reminiscent of the Manhattan Project. Four decades later, physics wunderkind, fighter pilot and astronautics prodigy Tommy Swift is recruited into the military's clandestine space program. A Midwestern kid with a talent for math and science and a Ph.D. in physics, he is on a fast track to become a NASA astronaut until diverted to the shadow space program. He becomes commander of Big Black Delta, a mammoth triangular spacecraft.
This book could have been billed a lot of different ways: - A fundamental breakthrough in theoretical physics - A complete guide to a new technology that will touch off a second Industrial Revolution, open the space frontier and transform terrestrial transportation into something out of a sci-fi film - A scientifically verifiable solution to the riddle of UFO propulsion and the crop-circle mystery All of the above are true, but none touches on its most important theme: A radical yet painless solution to global warming, one that will be as attractive to the petrochemical and automotive industries as it is to entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. More than idle speculation, the book offers a paradigm shift, a recipe for radical change that will augur for peace, not war. The key to this transformation is the technology of gravity control. The tragedy is that it has been hiding in plain sight for more than thirty-five years, during which time global warming has grown from a smoldering ember to an open conflagration with only a bucket-brigade trying to put it out. This book is a last-ditch effort to bring the technology online in time to avert environmental catastrophe and, yes, save the planet. The genius behind gravity control, the book asserts, was Dr. Frederick Alzofon (1919-2012) - a student of J.R. Oppenheimer, relativity expert Victor Lenzen, and mathematics guru Griffith C. Evans at Cal Berkeley in the '40s and '50s. As an acknowledged world-class authority on optics and heat conduction, an aerospace scientist with a distinguished thirty-year career, and the author of over forty papers and two books on advanced topics in mathematical physics, he was fully qualified to make such a discovery. Using unpublished papers and recorded dialogs with his father, editor and commentator David Alzofon presents gravity control in simple terms accessible to most readers, even if they lack a scientific background. As he puts it, "If you can understand a microwave oven, you can understand a flying saucer." There is plenty inside for the professional physicist or electrical engineer to ponder as well, including details of experiments conducted in 1994 at a university in the Pacific Northwest that validated the technology and the theoretical model behind it. UFOs enter the story, not as the central focus, but as evidence that the technology is already in operation. If you are tired of UFO mysteries and want real answers instead, look no further. Riddles solved include what makes a "flying saucer" the design of choice, how they make right-angle turns at incredible speed without killing the occupants, and how they execute soundless, bat-out-of-hell takeoffs into space at will. Also covered, crop-circle formation: how "the visitors" do it and why (and how we can, too, incidentally). In a Eureka! answer to a skeptical question posed by Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, you will find out how to model alien technology in your bathtub, and if you are a physicist or an electrical engineer, you will find more than enough specifics to replicate the technology in the lab. Don't let the humorous title fool you: This is a serious book about a serious subject that concerns all of us: survival.. Certain to be controversial, the book throws down the gauntlet before science and industry, asking "Which will you choose - doomsday or the stars?" If the choice is to ignore the challenge, that's quite all right, because any lone-wolf electrical engineer can, with the help of this book, pick up that gauntlet and run with it - into a future beyond imagination.

This rare and unusual illustrated manuscript was originally published by Saucerian Press in 1983. The author, Dominic Lucchesi, who spent most of his life investigating the UFO phenomenon, recommends you read this book - from beginning to end - with an open mind. In this publication, he talks about the many facts and findings that provoked much disagreement among UFO enthusiasts. The author believes that we have been looking in the wrong direction for the solution to the UFO mystery. After an associate, Albert K. Bender, was "silenced" by the Men in Black, Lucchesi went underground for many years - surfacing finally in 1983, with this very revealing study. He tells us that two sources of origin exist for saucers, and presents detailed drawings, as well as the language of the ufonauts as evidence. The story begins with the discovery of an abandoned UFO in a forest, by a surveyor, who gave Lucchesi one of the craft's components. Lucchesi subsequently met several times with a strange visitor named "Eone" (which publisher Gray Barker reveals, in the Afterword, was really the Venusian commander, Valiant Thor), who revealed much about flying saucer technology, origin, and purposes. Despite its startling contents, the book makes no claim at being the final explanation for all UFOs. In fact, Eone fears a shadowy global cabal that he claims secretly rules the world through their use of advanced technology and political machination.

Technology was the blessing and the bane of the twentieth century. Human life span nearly doubled in the West, but in no century were more human beings killed by new technologies of war. Improvements in agriculture now feed increasing billions, but pesticides and chemicals threaten to poison the earth. Does technology improve us or diminish us? Enslave us or make us free? With this first-ever collection of the essential twentieth-century writings on technology, Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Richard Rhodes explores the optimism, ambivalence, and wrongheaded judgments with which Americans have faced an ever-shifting world. Visions of Technology collects writings on events from the Great Exposition of 1900 and the invention of the telegraph to the advent of genetic counseling and the defeat of Garry Kasparov by IBM's chess-playing computer, Deep Blue. Its gems of opinion and history include Henry Ford on the horseless carriage, Robert Caro on the transformation of New York City, J. Robert Oppenheimer on science and war, Loretta Lynn on the Pill and much more. Together, they chronicle an unprecedented century of change.

Carroll Pursell tells the story of the evolution of American technology since World War II. His fascinating and surprising history links pop culture icons with landmarks in technological innovation and shows how postwar politics left their mark on everything from television, automobiles, and genetically engineered crops to contraceptives, Tupperware, and the Veg-O-Matic. Just as America's domestic and international policies became inextricably linked during the Cold War, so did the nation's public and private technologies. The spread of the suburbs fed into demands for an interstate highway system, which itself became implicated in urban renewal projects. Fear of slipping into a postwar economic depression was offset by the creation of "a consumers' republic" in which buying and using consumer goods became the ultimate act of citizenship and a symbol of an "American Way of Life." Pursell begins with the events of World War II and the increasing belief that technological progress and the science that supported it held the key to a stronger, richer, and happier America. He looks at the effect of returning American servicemen and servicewomen and the Marshall Plan, which sought to integrate Western Europe into America's economic, business, and technological structure. He considers the accumulating "problems" associated with American technological supremacy, which, by the end of the 1960s, led to a crisis of confidence. Pursell concludes with an analysis of how consumer technologies create a cultural understanding that makes political technologies acceptable and even seem inevitable, while those same political technologies provide both form and content for the technologies found at home and at work. By understanding this history, Pursell hopes to advance a better understanding of the postwar American self.
